Refund Policy

2. General Terms

• Eligibility: To rent an EV bike, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid government-issued ID and driving license.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Usage Restrictions: You agree not to use the bike for any illegal activities or stunts that may cause harm to yourself, the vehicle, or others.

3. Booking and Rental Terms

• Rental Period: The rental period starts from the time the bike is handed over to you and ends when it is returned.
• Payment: Rental charges must be paid in full before the bike is handed over.
• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all bookings. This deposit will be refunded as per our refund policy.

4. Refund Policy

• Security Deposit Refund:
  • The security deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after the bike is returned, subject to a satisfactory inspection.
  • Any damages to the bike or delays in returning it will result in deductions from the security deposit.
• Non-Refundable Charges:
  • Rental charges are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including early termination of the rental period.
  • Any additional services or accessories rented (such as helmets, chargers, etc.) are also non-refundable.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • If you cancel your booking before the scheduled pickup time, only the security deposit will be refunded. No refund will be issued for the rental charges.

5. Damages and Penalties

• Vehicle Inspection: The bike will be inspected before and after the rental period. Any damages found during the return inspection will be charged to the customer.
• Late Returns: A late return fee will apply if the bike is not returned by the agreed time.
• Traffic Violations: The renter is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

6. Liability and Insurance

• ETM Bikes provides basic third-party liability insurance for all rentals.
• The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the vehicle beyond the scope of the insurance coverage.
• ETM Bikes is not liable for any personal injuries or damages to third parties during the rental period.

7. Privacy Policy

• Data Collection: We collect personal information such as name, contact details, and driving license for identity verification and booking purposes.
• Data Usage: Your data will be used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
• Security: We employ industry-standard measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

8. Termination of Services

ETM Bikes reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services without prior notice if you violate any of these terms and conditions.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Bihar.
